Life is a Mystery

Everyday life with its twists and turns is astounding.  As we age and become replete with the wisdom of years having figured out everything that we need no matter how mundane (policies, procedures, technology, people) something happens to remind us that life will always be a mystery.   This is the beauty of it.

Science, logic, laws and even common sense serves us well most of the time and then BLAM, the unexpected happens to set the day on its ear and toss a bucket of cold uncertainty on our heads.  Rather than anger and frustration, an attitude of curiosity and intention to learn something new can make the experience a positive one. Loving the mystery of the unexpected is really the joy of it all.  A curveball can be such an opportunity for growth. Recognizing that things happen for us rather than to us makes everything worthwhile.
