On the other side of resilience is strength, wisdom, compassion, understanding and gratefulness.

Resilience is the ability to withstand adversity and bounce back from difficult life events. Being resilient doesn’t mean we don’t experience stress, loss, doubt ourselves, or at times want to quit. Resilience is the ability to continue on our journey even though we feel every one of those emotions. Some equate resilience with mental toughness, but demonstrating resilience includes working through emotional pain and suffering. On the other side of resilience is strength, wisdom, compassion, understanding and gratefulness. It changes us at our core. There is no way to achieve resilience without going through something unpleasant. However, we do go through it. Resilience is what you see when you look in the mirror. It is in the women in your family and in your circle. It is within every woman you will ever encounter.
